Details of each Wihtyar Essence available

1. Ancient Ash & Citrine	Ash can be a good calmer, a rescue remedy in cases of hysteria. It may also help with deafness. Releasing stagnations, Ash may be a relief for constipation, fevers and rheumatism. Citrine is a crystal aligned to the Solar Plexus; it virtually brings sunshine into your life, a lifting of negative energies and replaces these with a childlike enthusiasm and fun.
2. Ancient Beech Trinity	Taken separately: The Maiden may assist in bringing joy and optimism to the fore. It can assist in balancing hormones during menstruation. The Mother may bring mothering instincts to the fore. Acceptance of motherhood and all its joys. The Crone may assist gaining female wisdom. Letting go of outdated patterns (can also be obtained in separate bottles - see below)
3. Beech	Beech essence may assist in clearing the throat charkra. It will bring creativity and confidence to all communications. Beech can bring peace. Emotional shock and trauma may be released. Sensuality is enhanced. Beech essence can be used externally for skin ailments and internally for bronchitis and respituary problems.
4. Beech & Oak Union	In loving embrace the oak holds the beech. This essence can assist in healing damaged relationships. Devotion, compassion and empathy for each other can re-emerge as a driving force for positive change and reconciliation. The Beech can assist in treating arrogance, faultfinding criticism, pride and mental rigidity. The Oak can provide those healing forces of strength, courage and steadfastness when our souls are flagging. Both beech and oak can also assist in many skin ailments. Place a few drops in a bath, and visualize the loving embrace of Beech/Oak to bring calm and serenity back into your life
5. Bluebell	Bluebells have a very high resonance, the throat and third eye can be activated with bluebell. And it can have huge healing properties for the ear, nose and throat region. It can assist in clearing clogged up hearing passages and sinus. It can help with deafness. This essence can assist in clearing away old, stagnant emotions, its clear blue colour will resonate with new ideas coming forward and clearer thinking. Bluebell has a strong link to the higher Spiritual realms. Meditate with this essence to reach your guardians and spirit helpers.
6. Boy Yew	The healing attributes of the young yew essence can assist in breaking free of old habits and patterns, giving the strength and courage to be reborn in a new lifestyle or new pathway. Timidity and reluctance born of fear can diminish by connecting to the energy of yew. 7. Dragonfly & Celestite	Dragonfly essence can assist in changing worn out habits that no longer serve you, your mind can be opened to many new possibilities . Celestite is the crystal of clear communication, it promotes lucid thinking and all mental activities. It is an excellent healing crystal, which cleanses any area, transmutes pain and detoxifies.
8. Elder	Elder holds the highest resonance to Spirit. It can calm the inner mind, focus on emotional release from blocked spiritual bodies. It can bring calm amidst chaos and heighten self-esteem. Elder can be soothing to the upper respitory tract. It can help alleviate bronchitis, colds and can sooth headaches.
9. Gorse	Can assist in bringing back positive energy to a sluggish system. It can energize the solar Plexus, balances the heart and mind, helping to bring action to ideas. Gorse can boost the immune system. And can directly help in urinary infections and support the kidney functions.
10. Heather	This essence can assist in bringing joy in physical relationships. It can heal the sacral chakra. Heather is aligned to the crown chakra and can alleviate migraines. Taken at night it can help insomnia.
11. Holly & Rose Quartz	Holly can help to clear disturbances from the mind giving clarity of thought. It can be a great balancer on all energy levels. It can be good for reconciling past issues, again forcing change through sometimes-painful acceptance of what is needed to relinquish from our lives. Rose Quartz is known as the "stone of gentle love". It calms the emotions and balances yin/yang energies and is excellent for healing emotional wounds. It is very helpful in easing heartache
12. Horse Chestnut	White Chestnut can release friction in the mind. Intolerance is lessened. It can bring calm and balance. There is an increased understanding and empathy for others. White Chestnut can assist in poor and sluggish circulation. It can be used externally in skin lesions and ulcers. It can be useful in fevers.
13. Larch	This essence can assist in clearing blockages that prevent communication. It can clear the throat. It can create a positive energy for creative expression. And, because of the gentle nature of Larch, can promote reflective thinking and inner wisdom. It can help those with low self-esteem problems, and increases the will to succeed. It can assist in healing area around sacral charkra, I.e. kidneys and bladder.
14. Maple	Maple essence carries the healing energy of Love. It can align spiritual and emotional bodies, bringing a sense of ease and contentment. It can bring back a sense of personal power in difficult situations. Maple essence is aligned to the liver and can assist in cleansing and detoxifying.
15. Mother Beech Fungi	This essence can help facilitate and ease the passage of menopause. It can ease night sweats and sooth mood swings associated with menopause. A calm and centered place can be reached using this powerful essence for all women, and men who acknowledge their own change of life time.
16. Mother Yew	The healing attributes of the mother Yew will assist in the steps towards croneship, bringing serenity and calmness to review the “bigger picture”. It can calm the nervous system, and help to stem emotional overload. It can assist the emotional system, in the necessary process of letting go, symbolised in the strength and intricacy of the bird’s nest, of siblings flying the nest and leaving home.
17. Oak	This essence can assist in bringing courage in the face of adversity. It will be particularly good when in leadership or stewardship roles, where confidence and clear– thinking is important. The Oak is a cheiftan tree and revered by the Druids. This essence is about standing in the truth and alleviating fears. It can also assist in skin complaints, alleviating sores and ruptures if applied topically. Washing in cool spring water that has added oak essence (2 full pipettes to 1 pint).
18. Oak & Bluebell	This essence can assist in centreing the mind and heart to the resonance of the Trees. The Earth vibration, where, of itself great healing can take place. The Bluebell can improve hearing, amplify the heartbeat, of the trees. This essence is for those who wish to have a deeper relationship with the trees. It can bring calm.
19. Scots Pine	This essence has many healing properties: It can assist in auric protection, mending and sealing a damaged aura. It can be taken internally or placed on the hands for an auric sweep. It can assist in elevating the mood to a higher positive level, creating a change in attitude. It can help alleviate and sooth lung and respiratory ailments.
20. Silver Birch	Use this essence to bring new beginnings and insights. It is soothing to a troubled mind, it will unclutter. She is the Lady of the Woods and her essence will open doors to Spirit. This essence can assist in healing urinary tract infections. It can assist in soothing rheumatic joints and arthritis.
21. Snowdrop	The snowdrop is sacred to Imbolc, it symbolizes the purity of the Goddess Brigid or Bridie, who as a powerful spirit energy gives us help and guidance in healing, poetry, and the creative arts. The snowdrop appears as the first blossom after the winter, and symbolizes the aspirations of Spring, a turning of the corner after the harshness of winter: A flower of hope and of the seed of creativity and new ideas.
22. Sweet Chestnut	The feeling of a most exquisite balance, of two energies in absolute harmony. It was very gentle, sweet and quiet. Two voices, certainly: but not one trying to override the other. “We are in perfect union” was the message. The essence was set over the Beltaine Full moon, and in that joyous energy, the sweetest tasting essence was created.
23. Sycamore	Sycamore essence combines sweetness with strength. It can heighten awareness of the good things in life, encouraging growth and fulfilment. Throat, brow and crown charkras are activated. Sycamore can assist in boosting the actions of the pancreas and small intestine optimising the use of nutrients. It can help energy levels and is good for chronic tiredness and lethargy.
24. Willow	Willow essence brings protection for our spirit. She is a guardian, and nurturer in the feminine aspect. Willow will assist in dispelling negative thought patterns: A great illusion breaker. Willow essence will also release emotional blockages and bring relief from emotional pain. It can assist in alleviating the pain of headaches and fevers, arthritis cuts burns and ulcers. The essence can be applied topically
New 2007 25. Hawthorn Blossom	This essence is said to relieve the stresses of the heart centre, whatever they may be. They say it helps to increase the ability to give and receive love. Above all it helps to find forgiveness of self. And cleanse the heart
New 2007 26. Hazel	The inspiration of Hazel comes from the link to wisdom and creative thought. The Druids revered Hazel as a wisdom tree, associated with salmon, and the intuitive gifts of water. It is brain food, and the cobs were put into the essence to carry this energy forward in the essence. This essence is very helpful in giving positive direction to ideas and the actualisation of those plans. If there is timidity in approach, Hazel will help dispel foggy thinking. It will help bring skills to the fore. It can help stem menstrual flow
New 2007 27. Ivy	This essence can assist in resolving hidden fears. Anxiety attacks and nervousness in general is helped by Ivy. As a rescue remedy, for immediate relief, place a few drops on the pulse points of both wrists.. This is the charkra point of hidden fears. Ivy assists the better working of the immune system by removing built up fears and stress.
New 2007 28. Maple Blossom	The blossom created by this beautiful tree, gave off the most deep scent, the flowers were seeped in the spring water here for several days to give a powerful tincture, the sun was very strong through these days and the resulting essence holds the delicate healing of the blossom together with healing rays of the sun. The main energy of the maple spirit is to feel the sustained deep energy of universal love.
New 2007 29. Rowan	The essence of Rowan can lift depressed spirits and bring about serenity because of its spiritual life-giving nature. It will allow us to find strength of spirit and purpose within chaotic surroundings. Through the visual senses it can heal the human spirit. It is very good for creative thinking. It is an astringent and has antibiotic qualities.
Wihtyar Quintessence	This is a unique blend of all the trees and flower essences created at sacred places and at powerful times of the year on the magical Isle of Wight. The trees this Quintessence is created from are as follows: Ancient Ash & Citrine, Ancient Beech Trinity, Beech, Beech & Oak Union, Bluebell, Boy Yew, Dragonfly & Celestite, Elder, Gorse, Heather, Holly & Rose Quartz, Horse Chestnut, Larch, Maple, Mother Beech Fungi, Mother Yew, Oak, Oak & Bluebell, Scots Pine, Silver Birch, Snowdrop, Sweet Chestnut, Sycamore and Willow (added in 2007, Ivy, Hazel, Hawthorn & Rowan) This essence, when sprayed into an area, can clear and rejuvinate a stuffy room or one that needs elemental cleaning. It is very good for energy clearing throughout the home. It can be sprayed over and around a person to clear their energies, and it is excellent for preparing for a meditation. It can also be used outside, for calling in the tree spirits when doing ceremony. IMPORTANT: This particular essence is a powerful blend of mother tinctures and must NOT be taken internally.

THE THREE RAYS ESSENCES

Ash & Elestial Crystal Essence	This essence was created with an ancient Ash it was in early springtime and the black buds, reaching for the heavens and the sun were at their fullest. This rising sap, the solar strength present in this essence will assist in rejuvenating flagging circulation, and will boost the circulatory system. It will heal negative emotional states. The Ash's roots also reach deep into the earth, connecting with water causes, and are linked to the lunar and tidal feelings. It is therefore both masculine and feminine. The essence will help bring balance to yin and yang forces within. Elestial crystal The Elestial complements the Ash, for it holds a very high vibration and resonates to the higher charkras.
Hawthorne Essence	This special essence was created in Godney, a very ancient and little disturbed area within Avalon, where water once submerged the land, and is now marshland, and meadows. Hawthorn line the edges of many meadows. It is heavy with the scent and colour, both the white and pink blossom, with the coming of the “May”. Two particular trees “sang” and they were close to each other, their branches forming an arch, one pink and one white, and the shape they created was a heart, standing proud from all the others. The Hawthorn is a “Heart” tree. It resonates to joy and love and why the tradition of bringing in the ‘May” at Beltaine is still honoured to this day. The heart quickens and romance is in the air.
Holm Oak & Aqua Aura Essence	This essence was created in Glastonbury, near the winter solstice, 2004. The Holm Oak sits in a beautiful shaded area on a small ridge running alongside the ruins. It has grown impressively tall and holds sentinel over the Abbey. The energy radiating out is like a gentle but very ancient guardian spirit. The Holm Oak is an evergreen and has the qualities of oak and holly combined. This makes the tree a champion of endurance and longevity with the essence of stimulating change and resolving long held negative habits. With Aqua Aura, a crystal that is known as a master healer, for the inclusion of Gold, this essence will reach deep to cellular levels and is helpful for boosting the immune system.
Yew & Petrified Wood Essence	This essence was created over Sawhein, 2004, at the ancient Compton Dundon Yew, which sits next to St. Matthews’s church. This Yew was growing long before the church was built. Its girth and hollow centre can fit a small adult. This hollow centre is a secret, intensely beautiful space where faerie abide, and the essence, (chalice well water and the crystal-petrified wood was laid over the whole of Sawhein. The star alignment was also magical, with the configuration of a pentagram, which stayed in the skies over this period. Yew is the tree of death and rebirth and coupled with petrified wood, (from canyon DeChelly in New Mexico) creates an essence that is excellent for deep healing. It assists in healing skeletal problems, rejuvenates the nervous system and helps resolve deep emotional blockages, through dream recall.
